Why subscribe?

I started SHAE THE HISTORIAN while writing my doctoral dissertation in the Department of History at Harvard University. Instead of just spending endless hours in the archives, I peek my head out once a week to share with all of you the good, bad, ugly, and beautiful parts of our history.

📍My goal here is simple– to use storytelling, micro-lessons, and primary sources to help you discover the truths tucked away in our past. I hope you’ll follow me on this journey of making history more engaging, accessible, and worth studying.
